The approach to training is different to what I’ve experienced before where it’s really hands on and you get to use a wide variety of studios and equipment. That’s really valuable because when you finish the course you come away with not only the technical ability but also extensive studio experience.
I enrolled on the sound engineering diploma as I needed a course that would add to my skill set. I already had a strong production base so was impressed with the tutors delivery style that was specific to what I needed to learn. The mixing and mastering section was especially helpful to me as I’ve already released my music but felt my mixing skills needed attention.
Having some previous experience I wanted to take my knowledge further. The course content was fascinating and the opportunity to use professional studios was a great experience. My tutors were excellent and the feedback I received when I presented my final projects was invaluable.
I choose this course to further my career options within the music industry. I’ve been composing for some time but wanted to combine the use of technology to improve the overall production quality of my work. The one to one format was great for me due to lack of pressure in classroom environment. Would highly recommend!
