I’m an underground house DJ from Germany and my goal was to become a producer. I was new to producing and decided to study the music production diploma using Ableton. The help and advice from my tutor helped me enormously. I published my first song 2 weeks before finishing my course so really happy with everything I gained from London AMP.
I decided to take the course because I wanted a crash course overview of music production and the course exceeded my expectations in every way. The course was so individualised where my skill level was assessed early on and everything I learned was tailored to that. It was really practical, hands on and so much fun.
I completed the music production diploma and seeing how well my skills were improving and feeling my confidence grow as a musician and producer. I able to produce what I wanted and when I wanted. My tutor was great and took a freeform approach to learning so when I hit a roadblock he would help me overcome it. Thanks to the team for all your help.
I choose the music production beginners course because I wanted to work one on one with a producer working in the industry. The tips and tricks learnt from my tutor was invaluable to improving the way I worked. Having completed the course I decided to pivot in to the performance aspect by studying the DJ diploma with an emphasis on using Ableton and Push controller.
I’m an artist and wanted to understand how to create a song from start to finish. I’d recommend London AMP because, for me the use of the studios at any time was helpful for my own projects and progressing with the course. I also think it’s very good for those that want to go into the industry as it’s very practical and you come into contact with a lot of other musicians, producers and engineers.
I started a music tech course at another college but left early to join London AMP. I learnt more in a few weeks here than I did in 3 months at my previous college so it was a great decision. The entire course was perfect for what I was looking to learn especially the sound design, synthesis, mixing and mastering topics. Would highly recommend and a big thanks to my tutor Jay for all his help!
I had a limited knowledge of music production technology and wanted to fast track my learning. The course content was tailored to suit the type of music that interested me and my tutors were really patient and understanding. I think the course offers great value for money and would highly recommend.
I’ve DJ’ed a while I wanted to take the step into producing my own music. The course taught me how to listen to music in a different way and although my main musical interest is electronic music I found the engineering element of the course fascinating. Lessons were tailored to fit my work rota which was great. Thanks Colin.
I have always been interested in music and decided to enrol on the music production diploma. The schedule really suited me as I could only study during the evening or on Saturday’s due to work commitments. My tutor was talented and very inspiring and I really enjoyed my time at London AMP. Would recommend!
“I was looking to enhance my current skill set by concentrating on production, synthesis and mixing and mastering. Cost, location, tutors and facilities were major factors for choosing this course and having completed I would certainly recommend to anyone looking to improve their techniques. Thanks to the London AMP team for all the help.”
“I stumbled across London AMP via a google search and shortlisted it with a few others in London. I came very quickly to the conclusion that London AMP had the attitude, facilities and experience to help me. I can only thank the guys there for their knowledge, skills and understanding of the production business which they passed on to me.”
“I wanted a part-time course that allowed me to work and study. This course suited me perfectly – I loved the flexibility of being able to take a break from my studies at any time. I specialised in Ableton and I’m now producing my first EP. It was a great experience with nice people and environment, I would recommend to anyone looking to produce music to a professional standard.”
